Returns
Distance Selling Act 2000 - your right to cancel
As a consumer you have the right to cancel any order deemed as a distance order, this
includes telephone or internet orders. Any goods returned to us must be in original
packing, undamaged, unused and unopened with all accessories. If you decide to
cancel then you must first inform us in writing and return the goods within
ten working days at your own cost. We advise the goods be insured as we will not
accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.
We are entitled to deduct from any refund the full cost of any parts missing or
damaged and a ten percent restocking fee will apply if the goods have been opened,
unboxed or used.
Our original postage costs will be deducted from your refund.
Loss or Damage in transit
If Goods are missing or incorrect: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as
shown on the consignment note and to check the cartons for damage on arrival,
we must be informed of any discrepancies within 24 hours of delivery.
If goods arrive damaged: it is your responsibility to make a note on the carrier's
consignment note and to inform us within 24 hours of delivery.
Warranty
All new products supplied by Vickers Hi-Fi will have a twelve-month
manufacturer`s warranty unless stated otherwise.
Should your product develop a fault and you notify us in the first 14 days of delivery then
the item will be collected and a new one will be despatched as soon as possible.
Please be sure the product is faulty and it is not something that you have overlooked.
If the product is returned to us and found not to be faulty, then a fee
will be implemented to cover collection and delivery costs and possible restocking.
Please note that we will only collect the faulty unit from Mainland UK customers.
Overseas customers are responsible for all return costs.
Should you suspect the product to be faulty then please contact us immediately
for technical assistance.
Please be aware that any product returned to Vickers Hi-Fi should be done
so in its original packaging complete with all accessories and proof of purchase.
Should the product develop a fault after 14 days then you should call
for technical assistance on 01904-691600.
If the fault can not be rectified over the phone, then you should return
the goods back to us at your own cost making sure they are in original
packing and insured, as we are not liable for any damage in transit,
We will then at our discretion either repair or replace the goods in a reasonable
time-scale. If the product has to be returned to the manufacturer then the
time-scale will be longer and shipping costs may be charged.
Please be aware that the images on our website offer a fair representation
of both colour and finish of products, and that due to varied settings on many
PC monitors we cannot guarantee the colour you see online will be the same
shade of colour you receive or a perfect match to any existing piece of
furniture or product. Please consult the manufacturers website for full
specifications and descriptions about a particular product.
Due to manufacturers restrictions some products on our website are only
available in store and cannot be sold by mail order, this can affect your warranty.

in store at your convenience.
Always keep original
packing throughout the warranty period and if possible as long as you can.
Goods returned to us will only be accepted for repair/replacement if they
are in the original packing and with the original invoice, without these the
goods will be returned for you to arrange an alternative repair.

The warranty does not cover... physical or cosmetic damage, abuse, fire, theft, commercial
use or attempted repair by unauthorised persons.
